Compensation and workplace information. When you complete a Hygiene Worth survey, we may collect information such as ZIP code, years of experience, hourly compensation, work schedule, appointment length, paid time off, retirement benefits, health benefits, practice type and workplace preferences.
Career preferences. If you choose to explore career opportunities, we may collect information about your desired compensation, preferred schedule, commute preferences, benefits and other characteristics of your ideal position.
Contact information. Providing contact information is optional unless it is needed for a service you specifically request. Information may include your name, email address and telephone number.
Website information. We and our service providers may collect basic information about how visitors interact with Hygiene Worth, such as pages viewed, device/browser information and website traffic data.
How We Use Information
We may use information to provide compensation insights; develop aggregated and de-identified information about dental hygiene compensation and working conditions; improve Hygiene Worth; understand trends within the dental hygiene profession; identify career opportunities that may match a user’s stated preferences; communicate with users who have chosen to hear about opportunities; operate, protect and improve the website; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Compensation Data
Hygiene Worth may use compensation and workplace responses to create aggregated or de-identified statistics, benchmarks, reports and insights about the dental hygiene profession.
We will not publicly associate your individual compensation information with your name, email address or telephone number.
Aggregated or de-identified information may be used and published by Hygiene Worth for research, educational, commercial and business purposes.
Career Opportunities
Participating in a compensation survey does not mean you are applying for a job.
If you choose to hear about career opportunities, Hygiene Worth may use your career preferences and contact information to identify and communicate opportunities that may be relevant to you.
We will not provide your name, email address or telephone number to a prospective employer without your permission.
You are never required to pursue an opportunity presented through Hygiene Worth.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Hygiene Worth, such as website hosting, form-processing, analytics, database and communications providers. These providers may process information on our behalf in connection with the services they provide.
We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect Hygiene Worth, our users or others.
We do not sell your name, email address or telephone number to dental practices.

You may participate in compensation research without requesting career opportunities.
If you have opted in to career communications, you may ask Hygiene Worth to stop contacting you at any time.
You may also contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information associated with you, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-retention requirements.
Children
Hygiene Worth is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
Third-Party Services
Hygiene Worth currently uses third-party services to operate portions of the website, including website hosting and form/data-processing services. Those providers may process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
